This action step was accomplished with a formal and affirmative motion from the BOD on 8/9/2019, and the transfer of funds has been made.

Accomplished

2. At the August 9, 2019, Board of Director’s meeting, Bill Gion requested that the BOD approve using NDAA Convention Raffle ticket funds be used for additional partial future funding of the Scholarship Fund. (Note: These funds are currently being placed in the Legislative Fund).

This actin step was accomplished with a formal and affirmative motion from the BOD on 8/9/2019. They approved depositing 50% of the convention raffle funds into the Scholarship Funds, and the Legislative Funds will receive the remaining 50% of the funding.

November, 2019 Convention

3. At the August 9, 2019, Board of Director’s meeting, Bill Gion will explore with the BOD the idea of taking a portion ($15) of the proposed membership dues increase from $95 - $125 per member, and dedicating those dollars to the Scholarship Fund.

This action step was accomplished; however, it was not successful because the BOD, at their 8/9/2019 meeting, did not make a motion on this idea.

The general consensus was that other funding avenues would be adequate.
